today was a lazy day for us. we hungout at the apartment for sometime just relaxing. i went out and hit up a bookstore then we decided to go check out the U.S. Mint. it wasn't as cool as it sounds, which was really sad. they showed how they make coins but not how they make bills but there wasn't much activity going on in the factory part since it was the end of the day. still it was nice to go and see what was up there. we then met up with pauline and another couchsurfer who was a french girl so we were all going to go out and grab some dinner. it was monday and i guess every restaurant is closed early on monday since we tried to go eat at a couple of jamaican places but settled on a place that one of the 3 stooges had some connection to. we then parted ways and evan and i walked down to the museum to go take some night pictures around there; it was a great night, nice and cool. we just enjoyed people skating at the LOVE sign then enjoyed the views from the museum. we then headed back to the apartment where we got ontop of the roof and we took some pictures up there. it was a wonderful sight and ended the night very nicely.
